With over a decade of experience in the classroom, teaching many subjects to a variety of grade levels, I have come to think of myself more than an instructor in a particular content area.
I am an educator.
That being said, my areas of teaching focus are literature, history, and philosophy. I’ve taught courses in these subject areas to students of all ages, from sixth-graders to continuing education adults.
My teaching philosophy is community-minded and collaborative, seeking to empower students to understand their individual academic journeys in the context of the big questions that spark curiosity and move the world.
