Trailers and Teasers
To optimize spots for social media, I often found the need to abridge longer promotional spots into 30-60 second clips. The challenge was to make the promos shorter and punchier while still communicating the essentials about the event. Hump Day News
Show Recaps
The main type of video production for Hump Day News is video recap of live performances. These recaps accompany most live reviews. The goal is not to record the full performance. Rather, I’m looking to document the spirit of the event in a concise montage of sights and sounds. View a playlist here.
Hump Nights Promos
Another recurring video feature is our monthly Hump Nights show announcements. These features advertise the shows included in our promotional ticket giveaway. Ace the Quiz, Win the Tix! It’s essentially a slideshow, set to music, using assets built in Canva and the Adobe suite.
