I have almost 20 years of experience in various roles as editor and writer in print and online media.

Highlights in my editorial experience include my current role as Editor at The Big Takeover, as editor-in-chief at Hump Day News (nominated for Best Music Publication in 2023 and 2024), and a term as managing editor of ASAGE (American Society for Aesthetics Graduate E-journal), one of the leading graduate aesthetic journals in North America.

As a Writer, I’ve contributed to a wide variety of outlets, from academic journals to popular press, covering a range of subjects, including contemporary aesthetics, political campaigns, pro cycling Grand Tours, and my specialty: the workaday world of the music scene through interviews, previews, live reviews, and music reviews.

In addition to writing for a byline, I’ve also produced utilitarian copy for promotional, marketing, educational, and sundry other needs for jobs at Hump Day News, Regent Theatre, Cambridge Day, Loyola University Chicago, ASAGE, and Columbia University.
